ORC Networks
International Management and Remuneration Group
The International Management and Remuneration Group (IMRG) is
an ongoing
network for executives from leading companies in the U.S. and Europe
to focus on
developments in the HR field with particular emphasis on executive
performance
and reward. Established for 20 years, the IMRG meets twice a year
with confidential
meetings that alternate between the U.S. and Europe, in May and
October each year.
IMRG meetings are characterized by a high level of participation,
which is further
supported by informal peer networking between scheduled meetings.
In order to
maximize member input at IMRG meetings, ORC circulates a pre-meeting
primer to
all network members.
Benefits
The International Management and Remuneration Group offers members
the
following benefits:

policymaking decisions faced
by senior reward and remuneration managers in the U.S. and Europe
- Facilitated ORC meetings at which members share how they
handle rewards/remuneration
issues, such as maintaining an effective reward system for executives,
using
reward resources strategically, planning market-competitive executive
programmes,
and designing benefit plans that meet with strategic business
goals
- Analysis of relevant U.S. and European laws that impact
reward

in reward/remuneration
management

and currently
include:
Meetings and Networking
• Two annual confidential sessions facilitated by ORC.
- Typically, members meet in May in Europe and in October
in North America and 12 to 15 participants attend each scheduled
meeting. Agendas are tailored
to members’ needs and guided by a steering committee.
Discussion subjects
address strategic reward issues of concern to member organisations.
- Informal networking opportunities are built into all sessions;
and, the professional
relationships forged at these meetings are maintained and
strengthened between meetings by both casual and structured contacts.
